well as requested, i'll do my best to help with deck constructions i enjoy deck builds from trolling through to fun-play, character themed and competitive hit me with what you've got and/or PM me

So I'm gonna make my 1st real post, hope you enjoy it

I called this deck Chaos Sky Scourge, I'm not that happy with the name but for now it has to be sufficient.

This is not my main deck but something I created (almost) by myself and it's an interesting deck in my opinion. As I said in the introduction part, I love Chaos variants, so this deck contains some Chaos parts too

So now the strategy:

Primary aim is to get Sky Scourge into grave to copy its effect with Phantom Chaos when necessary. This can be achieved through Armageddon Knight, Veil Of Darkness or Ryko (although Ryko isn't very reliable )

In the meantime I always try to set up my grave with at least 1 Light and 1 Dark for some Black Luster or Chaos Sorcerer, while keeping trying to push the enemy's Life Points to zero with some strong Synchros or defending with some xyz's like utopia or leviathan dragon.

Normally Phantom Chaos + Sky Scourge is just the last solution like an emergency break, but the combo plague -> puts black luster on top of the deck -> phantom chaos copies sky scourge and cleaning the field and hand + lets me draw my black luster is just OP, but not very likely to get.

You know if this is the right place...i need help with a deck idea of my own.

lol well theres always room for gorz XD . ive seen many variants of this deck, like ones with the dark creator and even doomsday horror to return all the rfp darks back to grave . the chaos variant is intriguing, but seems empty without thunder king rai-oh in the main . considering rai-oh gives u control of the field, dropping ur traps for maybe a royal decree build (altho with norleras that is iffy at best and im assuming call of the haunted is as useful as all get-out) or just a lone treacherous trap hole is always a decent option . then u could focus ur side deck for specific archetypes that give u trouble or on altering the whole scheme of the deck . also i noticed a shock ruler in the xtra deck which i found odd . lavalval chain is a disgusting xyz which needs to be in there when it comes out . but i love the colored text, altho i would never take the time doing all that . i spend enough time typing these stupidly long responses . XD but nice deck . quite intriguing .

Try running the other sky scourges, they have useful effects. and i agree to run rai oh as it is a brilliant card.

i think the one sky scourge has the same effect as chaos sorceror . so thatd be redundant . idk what the other's eff is . something about negating spells/traps i think ?

Yeah basicly one of the others, if a dark fiend is tributed it becomes jinzo, if you tribute a light fairy its a more powerful version of spell canceller, ive ran an entire deck revolving around that sky scourge because it allows easy chaos summoning especially with cards like agent of creation venus allowing you to grab 3 light fairies so you have plenty of tribute fodder for spell lock down, and then next turn you tribute into a jinzo and its uber deck pains

@Prime: hmm yeah a treacherous and gorz are really a good cards, I think I'll try that out. I didn't even consider rai-oh, thx for that tip.

woah Lavalval should be OP in this deck, I didn't even read his effect before. I'll definitely put Lavalval in.

@valkyjosh: i don't really like the effects of the other sky scourges, and i must agree with Prime that Enrise has just the same effect as sorcerer and bls and the
other one has an effect that depends on the tributes, but i usually don't tribute in that deck

i think u need to run 3 dark armed dragons XD but idk much about running dragon decks so ur on ur own . i think dragunity kicks butt getting a lvl 7 or 8 synchro each turn with the field spell active and that hieratic OTK is a pain but other than that dragons have nvr rly given me any problem . maybe run 1 dragons mirror and a return from the different dimension . idk tho thats just a thought .

and valky i don't think running red eyes wyvern in chaos dragon is a good idea cuz your already getting red md back from the light pulsar loop. soooo any suggestions for running more lightsworns? cuz imo 2 lyla and 1 ryko is not really enough.....

I think the deck looks good as it is, and a second ryko would only slow it down. you don't want to set it all the time, but go aggressive with your dragons most of the time I think.

yah thats what i thought when i put that ryko in there but thanks for the suggestions
and with 2 torrential and dark hole around these days its kinda hard to go aggresive and any
"good" player would not go all out on their field

because of TT at 2 i run either starlight roads or the huge revolution is over, and my verz are going from 1 to 2 copies of infestation infection pandemic to make them immune to spell and traps

maybe put in a tyrant dragon so u can negate cards that would ruin your strategy like mirror force . good times . check the gallery on lul moments on DN if u dont know what im talking about hahaha

nah if your running chaos dragon mirror force won't matter cuz you have the lightpulsar loop

if mirror force hits both lightpulsar and darkness metal you dont get darkness metal back, as you have to target the dragon before they hit the grave so it cant revive your darkness metal unless its already dead

well actually i can still get it back cuz first the cards get sent to the grave and in a situation like mirror force red md and lightpulsar hit the grave at the same time....then i target the level 5 or higher dark dragon monster.
im not offending you in any way valky but read the card
"When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can target 1 Level 5 or higher DARK Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target."

not meaning to offend you but your wrong on all but 1 account, that one account is its effect happens when it gets sent to the grave, your wrong on everything else, its why any deck with pulsar says to run atleast 2-3 darkness metals as it cannot target a card thats sent to the grave at the same time as this cards wording is to select 1 level 5 or higher dragon in your grave, as pulsars effect happens when its sent to the grave the same time as RDMD its effect takes priority over RDMD so you cannot target it because it isnt counted as being in the grave just yet.

yh they changed pulsars effect just before they printed it according to the wikia because they wanted ot make it more broken

yeah i was pretty sure u were right, yoasianbanana . ive seen this happen irl and pulsar's eff still went off .
